What is the difference between the 10-digit number and the short code?
The 10-digit number is used for two-way texting, meant for reporting an issue or asking questions about permits, the community calendar, bill payments, etc. The number 91896 is for one-way communication, sent directly from your municipality to you and other residents.
Is there an app for TextMyGov?
No apps! To use TextMyGov, simply text 91896 to find information and report issues. Subscribe to the notifications group by texting the appropriate keyword listed above.
How often will I receive texts?
